I don't know about anybody else, but I end up doing A Lot of research, even if it doesn't directly impact on what I'm working on, I want to make sure I'm at least somewhere close to right about whatever it is. Which means I have accumulated a lot of links to the obscure, but interesting, STUFF that's on the web. And, before you ask, I seldom use the "free online encyclopedia" other than to check spelling, for reasons of my own that go back to the beginning of the thing. ( at one time, I was a registered editor for them) I was hoping some of it might be of use to others. There is no rhyme or reason to it, but we can start here: All material below quoted from the site: An academic & educational resource from the private collection of Martin Schøyen 840 manuscripts, more than 40 categories, topics and themes www.schoyencollection.com/Such as: .

Now that the rabid stupidity of the last two weeks is over, we may continue our journey through what is essentially the World's Library. The Ancient Wisdom Foundation:(Fully referenced FREE online research facility) www.ancient-wisdom.com/.

Moving on to a slightly hotter topic: Every volcano in the world that has erupted within the past 10,000 years or is considered potentially active and many extinct volcanoes are listed. www.volcanodiscovery.com/volcanoes.html.

Since I'd started with three, we'll do three on this update as well. looking upThe Disclosure Project is a research project working to fully disclose the facts about UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, and classified advanced energy and propulsion systems. We have over 500 government, military, and intelligence community witnesses testifying to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the cover-up that keeps this information secret. www.disclosureproject.org/.

One of the things 'research' does is to extend your horizon. Maybe you'll run across something that, for whatever reason, you didn't know. Maybe what you read is something that is a step above your level and you have to really work to conceptualize what is being said. Or, in my case, it is an entire flight of stairs above my level and trying to grasp what they are, and what they are talking about takes a lot of time and effort to even begin to come to terms with. Such as: www.varchive.org/cor/einstein/I challenge you to look up who was involved and what they're talking about. Back when I was working I was sitting during a quiet time and reading one of the exchanges on that page when a co-worker came by and said something to the effect of "must be interesting, what is it?" I told him. And I think he got scared. .

Not my kind of reading material but something seems familiar about it. No sleep is fogging my brain. ((well it's my excuse anyway))

As I have pointed out to innumerable others, and you may quote me on this....
"Your education is the only thing in this world that the Government CAN NOT take away from you."

(quoted) why are people so incredibly gullible? Our brains don’t let piddling little facts get in the way of a good story, allowing lies to infect the mind with surprising ease. If you ever need proof of human gullibility, cast your mind back to the attack of the flesh-eating bananas. In January 2000, a series of chain emails began reporting that imported bananas were infecting people with “necrotizing fasciitis” – a rare disease in which the skin erupts into livid purple boils before disintegrating and peeling away from muscle and bone. According to the email chain, the FDA was trying to cover up the epidemic to avoid panic. Faced with the threat, readers were encouraged to spread the word to their friends and family. The threat was pure nonsense, of course. But by 28 January, the concern was great enough for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to issue a statement decrying the rumour. (end quote) www.bbc.com/future/story/20160323-why-are-people-so-incredibly-gullible.

To be fair, I doubt the FBI will be able to read the minds of people wearing tinfoil hats

I only read the first 2 letters, and I'm already hooked. Einstein, Venus, and electromagnetic craziness? Hell yeah! Too bad my limbic system has trouble with math-heavy things, makes it difficult to fully enjoy physics, chemistry, and astronomy.

And then there is something like this: say, you want to compare the size of the country of Belgium to a US state.... (quoted) IfItWereMyHome.com is your gateway to understanding life outside your home. Use our country comparison tool to compare living conditions in your own country to those of another. Start by selecting a region to compare on the map to the right, and begin your exploration. (end quote) www.ifitweremyhome.com/(it's a bit larger than New Hampshire, or twice the size of Connecticut) .
