"I don't know, I was trying to nap!" the naughty cat exclaimed, running for dear life.
"Rhetorical. Question," the no-longer invisible cat panted, trying to find a place to hide.
Behind them the monster roared, sending globlets of blood and saliva flying through the air. It charged forward and rammed its side into the wall as it rounded a corner. Flecks of drywall exploded from where it had hit the wall. Continuing its destructive rampage, the monster tore right through a tripwire and crushed a cage between its jaws as it fell on it.
The cats reached an open window, decided the light rain outside was better than the monstrosity inside, and jumped down a storey to the pavement below. As they hit the ground they heard a loud crash from above and swiftly dodged the now falling remains of the window frame.
