For those following along, none of this will be news to you but for those who never enter support or never bother taking the time to really read...
You might want to start.
Matej has brought us a new update. In this update you'll find no actual v6 time set yet. You will find some information that might catch your interest. It did mine. Click the link and take a moment to read.
Highlights: --ProBoards turned 20 this year!
--Drastic changes resulting in them redesigning and reworking some of the core functionality
--Added support for service-wide SSL (more stated on support)
--Privacy framework improvements (this is only slightly detailed on support - much more goes into this than was mentioned)
--Complete redesign of the JavaScript/front-end functionality of v6 forums (more info given in those few lines than people realize)
--Support for React (this is news to me; I wondered what they were using) Knowing about it and being able to use it however, are not the same thing. Not yet
anyway.
--New payment and subscription system (not overly concerned with this part, personally but handy for those who use it to know about)
--Data Center Migration (the key point that stood out to me was the mention of legacy systems - of course much more was said that that)
--Talked about COVID-19 and the effects it had/has on them. It was more info than I thought would be given, honestly but I certainly understood their need to
share that info.
--Transparency, trust, and a thank you (this was really sweet - must read it to fully understand why I found it so sweet)
--ProBoards: v6 Phoenix (acknowledgement for the second time in those first few lines of that section; I'm fairly sure the details given took the sting out
of it but it was clearly there. Request for contributions; I've never once seen PB ask for money before. It was both a shock to read and a sweet way of
asking also. As a contributor, rewards are being offered. A request to whitelist; that was new since it should be done already for all who have PB or take
part in forums on PB. Sad that he felt the need to say it the way he did.
Two more things before I use the create thread button.
I doubt I'll be one of the ones selected for beta though it would be a wonderful thing to me to be among those chosen. Like I've said on and off LnF, it would help me become a much more active member on support if I could get my hands on v6.
haha, I honestly hadn't considered looking until I read that. Now I'm curious.

If you’ve read this far you might already suspect what all the work means for v6 - it’s almost ready and I am very happy to confidently say many of you will be able to get your hands on it before the end of the year as we move towards beta.

Very few of the changes have been visible when just browsing v6 on this forum, unless you went and explored the actual underlying code (you know who you are )
