First off, not everything in the archive can be seen by members. Some of it can only be seen by Staff.
The Categories and Boards change from time to time due to member activity or inactivity even. Keeping up with a small forum can be more annoying than keeping things running smoothly on a larger forum. Most of the time inactive members on the larger forums go unnoticed or rather, they are noticed but more active members tend to keep the threads active or create enough new threads to make everything appear active or often times both. (sorry, that sentence runs on and on a bit)
Here on LostnFound, a little too aptly named I might add, boards tend to go inactive a little too frequently. Not enough members or thread creators to really make a difference. As the board owner, I tend to not make new threads very often because in the past, they got very little use. Members are not known to make very many themselves so that is why the archive exists now.
The archive is the largest set of board on here. Sadly. In time, I'd like to think that will change.
The boards on the archive may differ from the current boards on the forum but that is done on purpose. A reminder of what I had before everything was silent or well quiet might be kinder to say. There are tags in place to keep the details behind the threads in place. Easier than how I used to do it which was editing the first posts in each thread and reminding myself of where it used to be. One of the few times I do like to be organized completely. Hopefully those tags never go away. The Board names are actually Categories. Archives for 2020 will be just that. No special way on doing that one unless the category itself is already there.
This is officially USELESS info. The Archive is closed off from its members.
